J.S. Highfield Limited has over 50 years of experience in the transport industry, enabling us to provide a quality, national haulage service. Operating a modern fleet of 20 articulated tractor units and a variety of trailers including curtain siders, potato & onions belted bulkers, fertiliser tankers and powder tankers. Our agricultural background has allowed us to gain a large amount of experience in delivering specialised agricultural products to farms across the UK. Typical contracts undertaken are for the timely delivery of fresh produce, bagged & liquid fertiliser, seed corn and seed potatoes. We also carry around 97,000 tons of waste plastics a year for several different customers around the UK. More recently, due to expansion, the company has moved sites from Cottam, near Retford to Hemswell Cliff Business Park, near Gainsborough. Moving to the new site will enable us to expand in the near future, allowing us to take on more work from our existing valued customers whilst also having the capacity to still deliver a quality service for any new customers that we acquire. Also on the site there is over 30,000 sq/ft of warehousing which we are looking for customers to work with in this field. We are members of FIAS, RHA and UKWA. |
